My topic is On the tragedy figures at historical turning points(Comparison of KongYiji and Rip Van Winkle).

The whole thesis consists of 6 parts. The first part will give a brief introduction of the negative, evasive and conservative attitudes of Kong and Rip as well as the topic’s significance in the real society. And the second part is going to analyze the figures’ background to show the historical necessity of the tragedies. In the third part, the tragic heroes’ failing in the character according to their living environment will be further discussed and the fourth part is to talk about their different tendency of dispositions and behaviors in the society. Then the author will dig into the root causes of the tragedies in the fifth part, and sum up the whole paper to reveal the ideological weak points of the two countries separately in the last part.

The year 2014 represents the 22”^ anniversary of Angela Carter's death. In those twenty-two years, her works have been widely taught internationally and brought about much critical debate. Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. As is known to all, in our daily conversations, ambiguity is often employed to achieve the effect of humor, thus creating a relaxing atmosphere and letting people feel at ease. Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.

Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.

Thirdly, I found many scholars have carried out numerous studies of ambiguity, but a majority of these studies are focused on single language separately. Articles about comparison between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity are not sufficient. So it is necessary to make further study.

For the above facts, I select this title.

Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.

The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.

The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.

The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.

The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.

The last part is the conclusion.

I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

第二部分，着重分析了哪些因素影响了企业保持持续盈利的能力，主要有以下四个方面：

二、战略规划缺失；

三、缺乏现代企业制度和科学管理体系；

四、企业家浮躁的心态。

第三部分，主要从外因和内因两个方面分析了我国企业保持持续盈利能力的现状，并对企业中存在的问题做了原因分析，指出外因只是对企业的发展存在一定程度的影响，并不是制约企业发展的决定因素。而真正制约企业发展的瓶颈还是在于企业内部，并且具有普遍性。

先问好，再说一下今天pre的具体结构（比方说今天的pre会介绍下XXX，然后XX方面会具体讨论，最后会给个结论。。。）。接下来就可以正文了。开头不要太长啊。

主要是把你的abstract，introduction 和 conclusion 结合一下，再说一下你的心得就好了，不用紧张，老师一般不会太在意你的presentation，因为在你做presentation的时候，老师在忙着看你论文，相提问你的问题，不会太留意你具体说什么，跟论文大概没出入就可以。

根据学术堂了解，毕业论文答辩的问题，根据难度由易到难有：1、格式问题。如：你这里格式不对。你这个图标有错误。你这里表述不妥当。。。。。这样的问题最简单，统一答：是是是，您教训的是。2、背景意义。如：你为什么选择这个课题？你为什么要设计这样一个东西？很多人研究过这个，你跟他人研究有什么不同？这类问题也很好答，转述一下论文研究背景的内容随意发挥，都是送分题。3、考察基础知识。如：你这里提到xx效应，能不能解释一下它的含义？你这里提到xx作用，它的影响因素有哪些？在这种情况下还可能出现哪些现象？这类问题都是死答案，记得就完美答题，不记得就瞎掰吧，没什么可取巧的。4、针对你的论文思路提问。如：你怎么得出这个东西的？你怎么证明你这个东西就是有效的？在xx情况下你这个东西也成立吗？你为什么说xxx？这类问题就需要你系统阐述一下你研究思路和一些细节工作了。表现出你的研究有根有据有意义。5，针对研究内容提问。如：这个方面你还做了哪些工作？这个趋势好像跟另一个研究不一致，为什么？你这里只做了三组数据吗？你这个可以得出这样的结论吗？这类问题尽量实事求是的答吧，突出你的工作量和工作特点，说服答辩老师。6、质疑你的研究。如：你这个东西已经是公认的了，你的研究有意义吗？已经有研究表明xxx，你这里的设计不符合xx要求/规范。这里明显思路/计算错了。这类情况很少，但是出现就比较惊险了，证明答辩老师对你的研究有不认可。还是尽量实事求是，不是大问题尽量说服老师，确实是明显的问题要谦虚认错，保证改正。其实感觉也总结不完，问题可以问的很随机，有些脑洞清奇的老师会从你完全想不到的角度提问，这时候就看你见招拆招了。不过万变不离其宗，对自己研究和论文相关的内容尽量了解全面。不过基本都会让毕业的吧~…~

同学：您好！首先解释一下论文答辩的一般过程和要求。一般答辩老师会针对论文的选题意义及原因、文献梳理、创新点、研究方法（写作方法）、论述过程和结论，以及论文的格式和体例有个大致的了解。之后，会针对论文的上述这些方面进行一些提问。第二，答辩时老师的关注点在哪里。这个问题比较复杂，因为不同老师的专业倾向不同，所以对你的论文的关注点也不一样，如果你写的东西正好和答辩老师的专业领域相近，那么就比较麻烦，这是由于答辩老师对你写的东西比较了解，因此也就会问的比较多，尤其是研究问题、文献和论述中的逻辑或方法。反之，如果老师对你写的东西不是特别了解，那么基本上就只是问一些细枝末节的东西，比如格式、体例、标点符号错误、拼写错误。（我一同学运气比较差，写的电影语言的翻译问题，结果碰到两个老师，一个是翻译的一个是电影文学的。。。。）至于，文学方向，这就需要学生对所选择的文学作品、作者、文学现象等内容比较全面的了解，最好能有个系统的整理，这种整理不需要太过详细，只需要列出一个提纲提示自己一下（trigger your memory）即可。第三，语言是关键。无论是什么专业的答辩老师，语言功底都比较深厚，因此，语言问题是老师最容易或最普遍的问题，老师会对语法、用词、句法、文法、拼写等等语言基本问题纠缠一下。（要不怎么显出他们水平比你高呢？）因此，把论文的语言做好是必须的，也是基本的要求。第四，题外话。一般老师都会问几句题外话，比如：你觉得学英语怎么样？工作好找吗？你学英语从事什么工作比较好，研究还是应用？（我答辩时，老师没怎么问我论文，就是问了这个问题）。这种提问一般就是考察学生的口语水平，因此就需要平时的积累。口语好的同学就不必发愁了。第五，论文体例或格式。这个是老师最先考察的内容，如果他们发现你的格式有些不一致或是不漂亮，就会影响整体效果，认为你态度不好。第六，千万不要抄袭。是不是抄袭，老师基本上一看就知道，所以这方面就不要冒险尝试了，我身边有无数同学有这种问题，都被发现了。希望对你有帮助。

For the above facts, I select the subject of From Rationalism to Irrationalism-on Doris Lessing's Construction of Dreams in Psychological Fictions as the title of my hope by studying this short story we can know more about the different arrangements for the dreams and hallucinations in Lessing's works at different period, the thesis aims at an elucidation of Lessing's chronological shift in her philosophy from rationalism to , I will present it to you. Here is an outline of my presentation. They are literature review, gothic tradition , the gothic style in the story and the causes of the gothic style .The thesis consists of five sections: the introduction, three chapters of argumentation,and the introduction includes a brief introduction to the writer and the writer's works concerned, the literary review of academic research at home and abroad, the main theory applied in this thesis, and an explanation to the thesis's content, structure and three chapters of argument consists of 1) an analysis of the coincidental consistency of Lessing's dream construction with Freudian theory; 2) a comparison between the hallucinations in “To Room Nineteen” and the dream images in The Golden Notebook,and an analysis to the distinction between Lessing's and Freud!s understandings on the mechanism of displacement and condensation, on id and superego, and on trauma; and 3) essing's transcendence over psychoanalytic concerns. 1. Aim and Significance:

As is known to all, Pride and Prejudice which was written by a famous English female writer Jane Austen is still a classic in English literature nowadays. Jane Austen who was born and lived her whole life in England wrote six books in her life time. Her novels all described the lifestyle and social communications of families in the countries of England as what she is familiar with. The book Pride and Prejudice is the typical one that fully expressed Janes view on marriage and emphasized that the benefit on economic exerts a great influence on marriage.

The characters in the novel all had their own opinions on marriage. Mrs. Bennet, for instance, has only one aim-that of finding a good match for each of her five daughters. As for Elizabeth, who is the second daughter in the Bennet family said that only deep love would persuade her to marry which was why she would probably end up an old maid. Lydia and Charlotte, however, were two extremes. The former just married for sex, while the latter married for a comfortable home and protection.

There are just so many different characters that were all formed under the society of England in 18 century. Then, there was filled with unfairness between men and women. Just as what Jane Austen is a truth universally knowledge, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.

2. Main Methods and Ways of Studies:

The combination based on love and similar interests results in a happy marriage of Bingley and Jane in Pride and Prejudice。Among all the marriages in this novel, the combination of pleasant Bingley and mild Jane is the most blessed and happy one. The couple has similar interests and they insisted on pursuing their true love, which lead them to a happy and perfect marriage.

Mr. Bingley was a good looking and gentlemanlike person whose revenues were about 5,000 pounds a year. As a young man who had good breeding, he was cordial and simple with easily-led disposition. With this character, he never appeared dissatisfied. He was easy to approach and constant in love although he was very rich. However, he lacked strength and independence in his marriage, which was a grievous defect of him. In the novel, Bingley was popular with almost everybody in everywhere. He had a pleasant countenance and easy unaffected manners. It is easy to find that he was agreeable both in appearance and character. The first appearance of Bingley was the time when he “returned Mr. Benner’s visit, and sat about ten minutes with him in his library.” As a pleasant and modest person, Mr. Bingley was far from the man who was strong and determined. This is his merit but also his demerit. His cordial and simple character leads to his quiet romance with Jane. But his weak and easily-led character leads to his parting with Jane. So when their romance went smoothly, he suddenly departed from Jane, which nearly ends his happy love and marriage.
