教师自身业务水平的提高是搞好教学活动的重要基础。但是,对于教学来说,仅靠自身水平的提高是不能很好的搞好课堂教学的。要搞好课堂教学,有许多工作要做,其中重要的一条就是要实现课堂上的师生互动。只有师生互动这一环节的成功进行,才能最终提高课堂的教学效率。如何搞好课堂上的师生互动,以下几个方面应该注意。

1.发挥学生的主体性配合教师的主导性

(1)发挥学生的主体性是搞好课堂教学的基础。学生在教与学这对矛盾的统一体中是矛盾的主体,只有把他们的积极性充分调动起来,教学效率才能大幅度提高。为此,一要教育学生明确学习目的,让他们认识到学英语的重要性,从而使他们的学习积极性得以调动;二要善于运用鼓励、表扬等手段,帮助学生克服英语难学的畏难心理,树立起学习好英语的自信心;三是传授学习方法,指导学生学会创造性地学习,提高对知识的吸收率;四是激发学生的学习兴趣,教师在课堂上若能运用有趣的实物、简笔画或幽默的语调、动作、表情,必能使学生兴趣盎然。只有这样,才能把学生的主体地位落到实处,从而保证课堂教学效率的提高。

(2)教师的主导作用在是学生迅速掌握知识的关键。以学生为主体,配合以教师为主导,改变过去以教师为中心的教学模式,注重培养学生的学习能力和研究能力。在教学中要开展以任务为中心的、形式多样的教学活动。在加强基础训练的同时,采用启发式、讨论式、发现式和研究式的教学方法,充分调动学生学习的积极性,激发学生的学习动机,最大限度地让学生参与学习的全过程。引导学生主动积极地利用现有的图书资料和网上信息,获取知识,并使学生在运用知识的过程中培养各种能力。同时,要注意教学方法的多样性,这样才有利于课堂教学效率的提高。

英语教学是教师主导性和学生主体性的完美结合。在英语教学中,外语教师除了发挥自己的.授课才能外,还应让学生广泛参与,如开展演讲、节目表演等活动,真正体现学生的主体作用,这样才能最大限度的提高课堂的教学效率。

2.调动学生的积极性,结合教师教法的灵活性

(1)调动学生的学习积极性对提高课堂的教学效率至关重要。为了调动学生学习的积极性,首先,要使学生明确学习目的。使学生明确学习目的是激发学生学习热情的首要环节。学生学习目的愈明确,学习态度愈积极,学习的积极性和自觉性就愈高。有意识地让学生明确掌握英语对国家的发展,社会的进步所起的巨大作用,使之明确学习英语的重要性,从而激发学生对英语知识的追求和向往。随着改革开放的深入和我国加入WTO,我们可以明确感到学生学习英语的积极性提高了,为什么会出现这种情况,其根本原因应该说是与社会需要和教师对学生学习好英语重要性的教育是分不开的。

其次,要善于激发学生的学习动机。动机在英语教学中起着十分重要的作用,是产生学习积极性的前提。激发学生学习动机可利用学生自身的好奇心,对成功的渴望、好动等。采用相应的辅助手段以达到目的。比如,课堂内容和多媒体教学想结合,多媒体课件的制作要和英美国家的国情地理生活习惯相结合。这样既能活跃课堂教学气氛,又能满足学生们的好奇心,同时也激起了学生们学习的热情与动机。

是课堂教学良好的开端。

课堂导人,作为课堂教学中一个不可或缺的环节,虽占用的时间不长,但“牵一发而动全身”。新颖而富有时代性的课堂导入能使学生轻松自然地进入到课堂中去,形成对新学习内容的“兴奋”,把其注意力快速地集中到本节课的学习任务中来,为完成新的学习任务做好充分的心理准备。

能引起学生对所学内容的兴趣

“奇”招的新颖性

导课形式要多样化要出“奇”招,“出奇制胜”。新颖有趣的导课,能吸引学生注意力。有利于引导学生进入课堂。21世纪的初中学生不仅富有强烈的好奇心,而且具有强烈的求知欲,因此,新颖而富有时代性的导入更能引起学生的学习兴趣。

角色表演法

学生分角色表演不仅很适用而且很具有吸引力和可操控性。是一种经过提炼、升华的交际活动形式。是一种富有创造性的活动,既激发学生的兴趣,让人有身临其境的感觉,又能把枯燥的语言现象转化为学生易于接受的亲身体验,使学生在英语课堂上“活”起来,“动”起来,在做中学,达到寓教于乐的目的。

如在教学新目标英语七年级(下)Unit7《 What does he look like?》时,可以让学生扮演有不同外貌特征的人物上台表演,这样导入:

Teacher:Oh,Tom,you look so cool.

Teacher(to other students):What does he look like?

Student B:She is she has black straight hair.

Student C:She´s of medium height.

再如在讲七下Unit5 I´m watching TV 中,如jump,run, clean, swim, talk on the phone等,让学生做,老师问,学生答的方式来介绍现在进行时态,学生会更好理解。

总之,英语课堂教学的导入方式多种多样,变化无穷,但都异曲同工,其目的只有一个:激发学生的学习兴趣,启迪学生的心智,使学生重塑自信,觉得英语课好学、易学,产生兴趣,减少焦虑,达到事半功倍。为此,要成功地导入新课,教师应努力提高自身素质,扩大知识面,提高英语水平,只有这样,才能在导入这一环节中做到游刃有余,从而优化教学过程,提高教学质量。我愿同所有英语同行们协作努力、共同探讨,让“导入”这朵艺术鲜花在课堂上绽放得越来越绚丽!
